Syracuse, NY - IKEA is opening a new store at Destiny USA, according to the IKEA U.S. website.

The popular Swedish furniture chain IKEA will open its first Upstate New York location at Destiny USA, the company announced Tuesday. Destiny USA management confirms to NewsChannel 9 that its new tenant will occupy the vacated space that formerly housed At Home.

IKEA has confirmed plans to open a nearly 70,000-square-foot store at Destiny USA in Syracuse, the largest shopping mall in New York. The announcement, made on Monday by IKEA U.S., marks the first IKEA store location in upstate New York.
