Florida is creating a "DOGE task force" to "streamline our government" and "eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy," Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Monday.

"State DOGE task force" will be an effort to "continue to streamline and eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy," DeSantis said.

DeSantis also said all state universities will be audited for what he calls any unnecessary spending and classes that don't need to be taught.
