The Rangers activated outfielder Wyatt Langford (left oblique strain) after a stint on the 10-day injured list before Saturday’s game against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. Infielder Justin Foscue was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move.

The Texas Rangers activated outfielder Wyatt Langford from the 10-day IL on Saturday and optioned infielder Justin Foscue to Triple-A Round Rock. Langford spent the minimum time allotted on the injured list as he was designated with a left oblique strain on June 25.

The Rangers bounced back from an extra-inning collapse in the series opener against the Padres, as Wyatt Langford made his return from injury.
