The Dallas Wings secured the No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft lottery Sunday, where UConn superstar Paige Bueckers is projected to go in 2025.

What made it more painful was the Sparks had the worst record in the league last season at 8-32, giving them a 44.2 percent chance of securing the No. 1 pick. The Wings and Sky both had a 22.7 percent chance for a shot to draft Bueckers, who is expected to be a potential superstar in the WNBA after she finishes college.

The 2025 WNBA Draft Lottery is in the books, and the Dallas Wings won the No. 1 overall pick and the right to select UConn star Paige Bueckers. Rounding out the lottery were the Los Angeles Sparks, Chicago Sky and Washington Mystics .

The Los Angeles Sparks, who had the top chance at 44 percent to get the top choice, will pick second, followed by Chicago and Washington.
