A northwest Idaho community is still reeling after a 20-year-old man was suspected of fatally shooting two firefighters and injuring another after intentionally starting a fire to ambush them.

Wess Roley, who authorities say took his own life after Sunday’s shootings, is suspected of killing two battalion chiefs in Sunday's ambush.

Officials said Wess Roley, 20, started a fire and then killed two responding firefighters. He was found dead on Canfield Mountain after a shootout.
