Trains through the Channel Tunnel between Europe and the UK are running again after a power malfunction caused chaos

New and revived rail routes will see global train travel evolve in the year ahead, from practical cross-border links to high-end luxury journeys designed to lure travelers off planes.

A second rail service, known as Le Shuttle, that ‌carries passenger vehicles and trucks through the tunnel under the Channel, was working to minimise the knock-on impact ⁠after also suspending its operations for much of Tuesday.
