Amcor buys Berry in $8B packaging deal
ZURICH – Amcor PLC announced on Nov. 19 that it would buy fellow packaging company Berry Global Group in an all-stock transaction. Multiple reports including Reuters stated the deal would be worth $8.4 billion. Shareholders of Berry expect to receive $73.59 per share and receive unanimous approval from the board of directors.
