HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WJBF) – A Georgia Lottery player in the CSRA won $100,000 in the July 2 Powerball drawing. According to a statement from Georgia Lottery on Thursday, the ticket was purchased at Pick N Pay at 3020 in Hephzibah. The winning ticket matched four of the five white ball numbers, in addition to the Powerball.

Two Georgia Powerball players tried their luck — and both walked away with big prizes. The lucky players each won $50,000 after matching four white ball numbers and the Powerball number in the June 23 drawing, just missing the estimated $129 million jackpot, the Georgia Lottery said.
