New Orleans' most notorious runaway, Scrim the dog, is back on the lam. Why it matters: After launching himself from a second-story window of a Mid-City home, Scrim escaped and was last spotted Uptown.

After being caught and rescued last month, Scrim, a dog that had Mid-City residents searching everywhere for nearly 6 months, is on the run again. The owner said Scrim jumped 13 feet from a second-floor window and escaped on Friday morning.

Scrim the dog is on the run again after leaping from the second floor of his New Orleans home, 13 feet down to the ground, before exiting through the metal fence.

Scrim — the locally famous rescue dog, whose dramatic and seemingly never-ending rescue mission captured the hearts of the city — escaped from a second-story window on Friday morning, Nov. 15.
