Colombian superstar songstress Shakira was forced to cancel her Sunday show in Lima after being hospitalized with an undisclosed abdominal condition.

Shakira had to cancel her Feb. 16 concert in Lima, Peru, due to a medical issue. She posted to Instagram that she had to go to an emergency room and that she had to cancel her appearance, CNN reported. Shakira said it was due to an abdominal issue, but did not disclose specifics, Deadline reported.

Shakira says that she will resume her world tour and perform in Lima, Peru, Monday evening, following the cancellation of a concert over the weekend due to a stomach illness.

The roof of the stage installed at Estadio Atanasio Girardot endured damage, concert promoter Páramo Presenta said.
