Goldman Sachs on Tuesday cut it's forecast for Europe's benchmark equity index STOXX 600 for the next 12 months citing continued weak economic performance and modest earnings per share growth as the key reasons.

It’s been a great two years in the stock market, with the S&P 500 following last year’s 24% gain with, so far, another 23% appreciation. Perhaps better late than never, Morgan Stanley has jumped on board the U.

Goldman Sachs has forecast the S&P 500 index would reach 6,500 by the end of 2025, joining peer Morgan Stanley, on the back of continued growth in the U.S. economy and corporate earnings.
