For the past few seasons, Lonzo Ball's name has been mentioned in numerous trade talks for the Chicago Bulls. That all came to an end when the Bulls re-signed Lonzo Ball two a two-year, $20 million extension.
After a report and photo last week that the father of NBA players Lonzo and LaMelo Ball had his foot amputated, LaVar Ball jokes about surgery.
Ball has appeared in 30 games (nine starts) in 2024-25, averaging 7.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 21.6 minutes per game.
“Lonzo Ball said he’s happy to be re-signed, said everything about situation here made sense,” K.C. Johnson said in a post. “Team physician Brian Cole is based here. Said team stuck by him and believed in his return when many others doubted him. Reiterated how important it is to have Cole/rehab process in place.”
