The Chicago Cubs are finalizing a contract with free agent infielder Justin Turner, who spent last season with the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners.

The Chicago Cubs agreed to a minor-league deal with veteran right-hander Chris Flexen on Monday. Flexen was with the Mariners for 2021, 2022 and a portion of 2023.
