Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are now officially listed as questionable vs. the Bulls Monday night. Maxey is dealing with a sprained finger in his right shooting hand, though Nick Nurse did tell reporters Sunday that the guard was a full participant at practice.

The Sixers’ effort was abysmal to start the game before a late comeback attempt was thwarted by buzzer-beating offensive rebound.

Forward Justin Edwards was added to the injury report with a left ankle sprain heading into Thursday’s game — joining Kyle Lowry (right hip injury management), Eric Gordon (right wrist sprain) and Jared McCain (left lateral meniscus surgery) on the sideline.

The more the 76ers struggle, the likelier it becomes that the team's best chance is to build around the star guard.
