Corey Heim secured victory in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona after Parker Kligerman's disqualification.

Parker Kligerman and Henderson Motorsports lost their appeal from Daytona on Thursday. Kligerman's DQ stands while Corey Heim keeps the Truck victory.

Tricon Garage's Corey Heim won the Truck Series season opener at Daytona after Parker Kligerman was disqualified.

Shortly after Parker Kligerman was flagged the winner in the season opening NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway the sanctioning body disqualified him when post-race inspection revealed his truck was too low in the rear. Second-place finisher Corey Heim in the No. 11 truck was then declared the race winner by NASCAR.

Parker Kligerman initially won Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway, but post-race inspection found his No. 75 truck to be too low, resulting in his disqualification.

The TRICON Garage driver was pushing his teammate, Gio Ruggiero, in the No. 17 JBL Toyota Tundra TRD Pro up the middle of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pack. Heim’s No. 11 Safelite Toyota was being buffeted by the air coming off of the Front Row Motorsports trucks, Parker Kligerman, and others to their inside and outside.

Corey Heim was declared the NASCAR Truck Series winner more than an hour after the Fresh From Florida 250 race at Daytona Friday.
