Universal took the top spot at the U.K. and Ireland box office with the release of 'Jurassic World Rebirth,' which opened to $17 million.

The seventh installment in the action-adventure series created by Steven Spielberg opened well ahead of expectations over the long Fourth of July holiday in the U.S. - where it racked up $147.8 million - as well as overseas.
