A Connecticut board that granted "conditional release" to a man in Bridgeport cannibalism case say offenders previously granted release stayed out of trouble.

Connecticut's Psychiatric Security Review Board Friday granted "conditional release" to Tyree Smith, who admitted killing a man in 2011 and eating parts of him.

Tyree Smith, who killed a man with an ax in Bridgeport in 2011 and then ate parts of the victim, could be released from Whiting Forensic Hospital.
