The Edmonton Oilers got Kasperi Kapanen off NHL waivers from the Blues almost three months after losing two RFAs to St. Louis.

The St. Louis Blues announced Monday that they have placed forward Kasperi Kapanen on waivers. Kapanen is currently on a one-year, $1 million contract, and will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
