HAMPTON — The Norfolk State women’s basketball team got back in the win column Saturday night with a victory over Hampton in the Battle of the Bay. Coach Larry Vickers and the Spartans improved to 4-1 on the season with a 62-53 win, extending their winning streak over the Pirates in the series to three games.

It was a clean sweep for the Norfolk State basketball teams Saturday in the ‘Battle of the Bay’. The Spartan men defeated the Pirates 67-58 while the Spartan women won 62-53. Highlights are in the video above.
