A Georgia lottery player was a number shy of the Powerball jackpot but still walked away a big winner. The lucky player won $100,000 after matching four white ball numbers and the Powerball number in the July 2 drawing, narrowly missing the estimated $175 million grand prize, results show.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WJBF) – A Georgia Lottery player in the CSRA won $100,000 in the July 2 Powerball drawing. According to a statement from Georgia Lottery on Thursday, the ticket was purchased at Pick N Pay at 3020 in Hephzibah. The winning ticket matched four of the five white ball numbers, in addition to the Powerball.
