European nations are accusing Russia of orchestrating a massive sabotage strike on Ukraine’s Western allies after two underwater fiber-optic cables were cut in the Baltic Sea.

A communication cable connecting Lithuania and Sweden through the Baltic Sea was cut on Sunday morning. Telia, a Lithuanian telecommunications company, reported the incident. The disruption occurred at around 10:00 AM.
Lithuania steps up surveillance at sea following damage to undersea cable
Lithuania's Navy said on Tuesday it had increased monitoring of its waters after an undersea communications cable connecting the country with Sweden had been damaged. An assessment is now being carried out along with allies, a spokesperson for the Lithuanian armed forces told Reuters.
