The Cleveland Browns are preparing for a rebuild. The franchise is already dealing with Myles Garrett’s recent trade request after hoping he would finish his career in Cleveland. Now, the franchise is moving on from safety Juan Thornhill to make some cap room.

According to SI’s Albert Breer, Stafford has been a name that has come out in Cleveland as their potential starter in 2025. The Rams recently allowed for Stafford’s representation to find a trade partner (and a new contract) in hopes that the numbers Stafford got could bring them closer to an agreement on a contract extension of their own.

The Cleveland Browns have made a decision on defensive back Juan Thornhill, who played 22 games for the team in the last two seasons.
