The Cleveland Cavaliers have already made one trade. Here are three other moves for the Cavs to consider before the NBA trade deadline.
The Chicago Bulls have made a trade. In their first deal before the trade deadline, they acted as a financial buffer to take on an expiring contract and sent a two-way player to facilitate the move. The Bulls, Kings and Cavaliers were involved in a three-team trade Saturday night.
Former Alabama guard Keon Ellis has changed teams ahead of Thursday’s NBA trade deadline. The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Ellis and guard Dennis Schroder from the Sacramento Kings and forward Emanuel Miller from the Chicago Bulls while sending forward De’Andre Hunter to the Kings and draft considerations to the Bulls.
The Portland Trail Blazers may have just cemented themselves as trade deadline "buyers," which should be music to the Chicago Bulls' ears.
Both Miller and Travers are on two-way contracts. Chicago needed to send something to Cleveland to finalize a larger trade.
