A notorious crypto hacker’s wife — who rapped under the name Razzlekhan and styled herself as the “Crocodile of Wall Street” — was sentenced to 18 months in prison on Monday for helping her husband launder stolen bitcoin now worth $10 billion.

The value of the bitcoin stolen by hacker Ilya Lichstenstein from Bitfinex in 2016 is worth more than $10 billion now.

A hacker has been sentenced to five years in prison for stealing and laundering approximately 120,000 bitcoin – worth more than $11 billion at current prices – from the crypto exchange Bitfinex.

Using "advanced hacking tools and techniques," Lichtenstein broke into the network and "fraudulently authorized more than 2,000 transactions transferring 119,754 bitcoin from Bitfinex to a cryptocurrency wallet" in his control,
