One of our volunteer wardens at Stanpit Marsh had a visitor while she was on her patrol yesterday during the high tide! Seals are often seen in our waters as they prefer cold water, they are carnivorous and prey on fish and occasionally small birds. Both the Grey and the Common/Harbour Seal are native to the UK.
