The earthquake that struck Davao Oriental today has been recorded as 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, ranking #4 based on its magnitude. The strength of the tremor was felt not only in Davao Oriental but also in many surrounding provinces. At times like this, we are reminded of how fragile life can be and how quickly everything can change in just a few seconds. Many of our kababayans are now facing uncertainty, fear, and loss.
